  1. Deal 15 cards face down in a stack and place in front of each player, and place one “central card” face up in the middle of the table. The remaining cards form the draw pile.

3. Player 1 (to the left of the dealer) takes three cards from his/her personal stack.

The player may play any or all of the three cards on the central card if a match exists.


A match is any of the following:

the same number,

the same color,

the same background shape,

the same category,

or the same first letter.


4. The matching element must be declared: “It is blue.” “It is a seven.” “It is a food.” etc.

4. If all three are played, then the player may take three more and continue playing.

5. When play is no longer possible, the player discards one card onto the stack of the player to the right to finish the turn.

6. The next player to the left starts their turn, and so on, in a circle.

When a player starts the turn, the player always refills their hand to three from their personal stack before starting.

7. When a player plays or discards the player’s last card, that player wins.

*Players may shuffle their stacks at any time.
